Our Baby Tweenie room has lots of areas for the children to explore. Children can take part in numerous activities and develop different skills. Toys are set at a low level so that they are easily accessible for the children to make make their own choices.
We have a peaceful, cosy and fully equipped sleep area for the children. We provide bed linen which is changed and laundered regularly. We provide cots and beds however if your child prefers to sleep in a pram you are welcome to bring your own pram if preferred. All children have their own basket in which to keep their own blanket.
When your child is ready they will progress into Pre-School. This is a large room with many areas of provision for children to explore and learn through play. Pre-Schoolers have direct access to two large fully equipped outside play areas, to enable freeflow to allow the children to learn indoors and outdoors on a bigger, messier scale.
An area dedicated to messy play. This area helps your children to explore and play with a range of tactile materials such as gloop, shaving foam and custard, to name but a few. The children have free access to a wide range of materials such as paint, glitter, feathers, etc. To creatively express their imagination and get as messy as they like!

Our children are now all adults and this is truly a family business. Our eldest daughter is our Preschool teacher and Deputy Manager, Our second eldest daughter opened and developed our ‘ Out of School Holiday Club ‘ and our youngest daughter works with the children and creates exciting , enabling environments for the children to explore during half terms when she is on a break from her studies training to be a school teacher.

I have been doing this job for over 34 years and can truly say it is my passion to provide high quality childcare and I convey to our team that I want every child to be treated like ‘our own’ and our Mission is to ‘put children first in everything that we do.’ My own children and grandchildren have attended the nursery and we want every child to feel like ‘one of ours.’
Personally and professionally I have developed through attending continuous professional development training courses relating to all areas of child development and the business.
I am very proud that we are the only independent nursery in our neighbourhood that isn’t part of a corporate chain and that myself as the owner and my daughter who is the deputy manager are contactable personally and on-site everyday.
