We offer funded places.

Fees

Universal 15 hours funded childcare for 3 year olds

Eligibility

All 3 and 4 year olds in England are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare per week

Important details

We ‘stretch’ funded hours across the full year for more flexibility — usually around 11.4 hours per week over 50 weeks.
Need more hours? No problem — you can book additional, non-funded hours to suit your schedule.
You may be able to use this alongside other government schemes. Learn more at gov.uk/browse/benefits.

30 hours funded childcare for working family

Eligibility

Both parents (or the sole parent in a single-parent household) must usually work 16+ hours a week
Each parent must earn less than £100,000 per year
You may still qualify if you’re on sick leave, parental leave, or certain benefits
Immigration status, your child’s age, and where they live can also affect eligibility

Important details

Funded hours cover 38 weeks per year (term time)
At The Bridge Day Nursery, these are often ‘stretched’ across the full year — usually up to 22.8 hours/week over 50 weeks
You can book extra hours beyond what’s funded, which are charged separately
Local Authority rules may affect how funding is applied at your nursery

Funding

* Maximum of 10hrs may be taken in one day

Optional Extra’s

Extra Hours : £9.60per hour if taken without other purchases .

If taken with meals, consumables & extra curricular activities is £2.60 per hour.
Meals £10.50 half day/£14.50 full day
Consumables & Extra Curricular Activities £1.70 p.h

EXAMPLE BASED ON STRETCHED 30 HOURS

Child attends 3 days a week 30.75hrs and is eligible for 30 funded hours.
Funded hours spread across the year: 30 hrs x 38 weeks ÷ 50 =22.4hrs pw

Weekly cost:

Extra hours : 8.35hrs x £2.60 = £22.71
Extra Curricular & Consumables: 22.4hrs x £1.70 = £38.08pw
Meals:£14.50 x 3 days =·£43.50pw
TOTAL pw = £104.29

Monthly cost (50 weeks):

£104.29 x 50 wks ➗12 = £434.54 per month
With Tax-Free Childcare: You pay £347.63 the gov adds £86.91

Our Funding Options

Option A

Take funding between 7:45 am – 6 pm all year round, Inclusive of meals, consumables, extra-curricular activities and extra hours.
Stretched all year round for 50 weeks of the year at 11.4 hrs or 22.8 hrs per week paying the same amount all year round.

Option B

Take 15 or 30hrs funding between 7:45 am – 6 pm. Inclusive of meals, consumables, extra-curricular activities and extra hours.
Receiving 15 or 30 hrs funding for 38 weeks per year . Paying full fees at half terms.
We also offer a limited number of ‘school hours , term time only’ places for our 30 hrs pupils preschool class only .

Option C

Take funding between 7:45 am – 6 pm Stretched all year round for 50 weeks of the year at 11.4 hrs or 22.8 hrs per Basic childcare is free, you may purchase extra hours, meals, consumables & extra curricular activities.

Option D

Take 15 hrs funding for 38 wks of the year 8:00 am-11:00 am / 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm / over 2.5 days term time only (no charge at half term).
To be limited to a small percentage of disadvantaged families who do not work and are in receipt of 15 hrs funding.
